I'm not too short, your chairs are

When I was younger there was an ad on the tv that I never understood. It still made laugh and I can remember it even now. The ad was in for Vogel's bread where kiwis got caught out at customs with a loaf of Vogels in their bag, which would be confiscated but the officials and then eaten by them.
I now understand that ad. The people travelling knew that there was no better bread than Vogels. And I have to agree with them. Sitting down to breakfast of toast and jam I can't help but miss the best gluten-free bread I have had to date.
Also, why do most restaurants insist on having low chairs? Now I am not a tall person but I am also not all that short, but when I say down to dinner last night I found myself at chest height with the table. That in itself makes it interesting to eat but when you need to cut some food up it is almost comical. Why don't restaurants have normal height chairs?
