Overheating inside and out

Before I started packing for my holiday, my mum warned me that they do not heat their indoors the same way that we do in New Zealand. When I found this out I thought ok so they must keep their indoors a little on the cooler side. Boy was I wrong. Ever since I took off yesterday I have been hot. The plane was hot(for a change); the airport was hot; the bus to the city was hot. I have only found two places so far in this city that is slightly cool. One is my hotel room (which has a temperature control just for the room) and the other is the outdoors.
Today I went to the outlet mall on the river. That mall was the hottest place that I have been so far on this trip. I have come to the conclusion that the people here cannot cope with the cold. I wore my sweater and puffer jacket to begin the day and by the time I made it to the first stop I had taken my jacket off and was really wishing for a tank top.
